The 8th ASCAAD International Conference ASCAAD 2016 will be held at the School of Oriental and African Studies, SOAS University of London, London, United Kingdom.
SOAS (The School of Oriental and African Studies) has been among the leading institutions in the world for the study of Middle and Far East Cultures. In 2016, SOAS is celebrating its first centenary through various activities taking place in London and all over the world. The Arab Society for Computer Aided Architecture Design ASCAAD is joining the centenary celebrations and holding its conference outside its traditional geographical area, for the first time, in recognition of SOAS continuous contribution to development and to the dissemination of knowledge in the Middle East. Furthermore, ASCAAD conference theme touches on issues pertaining to the use of CAAD in culture and development pursuant to SOAS inherent interest in the subject areas.
